Naruto OC: Hoshi Mitsumi

She's not one of the main characters of my story. D: But she'll make an appearance.

Hoshi Mitsumi- motherly, hot-headed, organised

Village: Sunagakure
Assigned Jounin: Kankurou (umm... I like Kankurou...?)
Teammates: Gahitsu Hari [link] Takara Isshi

Mitsumi is the kunoichi of her team. Just like her other team members, she fights with a puppet, preferably long range. She worries about her teammates frequently, and she lost in the preliminary matches. She gets annoyed with Hari's tactlessness often, and also Isshi's over-quietness (and general freakiness).

Her puppet, Kujyaku (Peacock) is often mistaken for a chicken for lack of recognization, but that's not the point. Kujyaku have smoke bombs stored in its "neck" compartment, and through its beak, can give out smoke screens. It has "feathers" that are actually blades popping out of its tail, hence its name, when necessary. She isn't very talented with controlling the chakra strings, but the useful poison projectiles, poison, etc. stored in Kujyaku makes her an opponent you wouldn't want to face.
